A few thoughts for a change....

Oops, Labour is still on the control part. Controlling everything, inclusive of how we behave, speak, sleep, defecate, urinate, kiss, even masturbate. Angela Rayner is on the warpath! Just hoping she told master Keir what's going on. Sure, Labour has this communist legacy, it is not the majority but like everything in this woke country, the minorities have the upper hand. Thanks to their big mouth and willingness to step up onto the ramparts. Whilst most of the ‘normal’ people are just too willing to step back and let them get on with it. But there is a danger to that approach as we are able to note what’s happening in totalitarian countries. Freedom of speech has disappeared, one does what one is told or else. The red-haired AR would love that I suppose, kill off all men for a start. Well, let’s be fair only the Scots now know what a woman is. The rest of the country still dithers to figure out whether a trannie is a tranvestite or a man disguised as a woman with or without operational enhancements.

In the meantime that clever president of the US, yes that one, is holding our very masculine Keir to ransom. We are now to disassociate ourselves from everything woke, all ideas about transgender issues because if we do not we will be slapped with having taxes slapped on top of our exports. Ah well, what’s new. It remains to be seen if the incomparable Keir understands the issues. He’s or rather was, a lawyer so it wouldn’t be too difficult. No? Let’s not hold our breath , poor Keir is too busy at the mo’ trying to remember whether a woman has a penis. I have to be fair, I have never seen one, not for want of trying mind. But I’m sure Keir knows more than I do, he’s a man of the world. Just wondering where he saw one, Isle of Man perhaps, they have funny cats as well and people with three legs. Ah, that could explain it. If these were dressed as a woman. Politics is a funny business, is it not?

Locally the increased council tax is killing off people right and left, with the water tax as well they are dying of thirst. That’s good for the immigrants who come from countries that have no water anyway. They are going to be right at home. In Wales the influx of English retirees and shunted immigrants is relentless and rapidly changing the communities. Anyway, there are now plenty of houses to buy or rent as the once loved second homes are a lost effort. I am watching my shed and have also put a lock on it just in case I would find 15 or so immigrants bedding down . I suppose a lock wouldn’t really stop ‘m. My Alsatian might though.

Do we really understand our adversaries?

Having read one of the Telegraph’s articles, the ones that are sent called Top Stories on mobiles, named ‘Putin will soon turn his war machine on Britain’ , I wasn’t sure whether to start packing my belongings or laugh uproariously. It was attributed to Ben Wallace , a former Secretary for Defence, so it must be taken seriously. Looking at the article at first one can easily dismiss it as a bit of fanciful drivel, much like loads of other ‘ Telling you what is going to happen’ stuff. Obviously most does not, will not happen or are just fancy personal emanations of deep-seated fear of the unknown. Whatever, I wouldn’t think someone like Sir Ben would succumb to such fear. So, I read the article again and picked up the psychological slant on meetings with people who have had little discourse or meetings with opponents in foreign climes. A nice trip, safety? Good question....

Bit of a surprise for the lady of the house and me. Our daughter treated us to a ticket for a trip on the ‘Waverley’. The Waverley is a paddle-steamer built in 1947 and reputedly the only one left in the world. Well, at least in the UK! The ship would leave the pier at Penarth (the small town next to Cardiff) for the trip to Ilfracombe, the small town in North Devon, England. It is about 70 odd miles I think and the trip lasts for about just 2 hours plus. The weather at the moment here is governed by a high pressure system, meaning calmer seas. Yet due to a stiff breeze there were visible the well-known ‘white horses’. For foreigners that means asking the age-old question – ‘White horses’? Are there horses on the water? No, friends it just means white capped waves. It made the ship sway ever so little but noticeable looking at the stumbling people around the decks. One very serious question needs asking though, a ship like the ‘Waverley’ which is not enormous like today’s ocean-liners...
