Pertinent observation? Yes, Minister!

Oh why oh why do we have people in charge who just cannot tell what is right and what is wrong. Sitting on the fence all their miserable lives. One of those, Keir Starmer, yes he the one sitting on the prime minister’s chair, he is a case in point. When it suited him was very happy to jump on the bandwagon of wokeness, even declaring women could have penises. Sure, he was part of the Labour opposition so that’s OK then. He boldly declared, showing himself to be a man of powerful intellect, ‘trans women are women’. Right o, we get it Keir. Forward to 2025, some three years later and the Supreme Court has now declared ‘A woman is defined by biological sex’. Obviously we all already knew that, except Sir Keir and quite a few of his mates as well who needed a court decision to get it into their thick skulls that a woman is a person defined by their biological sex from birth. It remains to be seen whether their skulls are too thick for something as profound as that statement to get through! It does not bode well for their political acumen, something I have known for a long time. They are just chancers who thought that politics was a lovely easy life, plenty of freebies and luxurious travel across the world. All the while telling everybody else how to behave or else. Someone like J.K Rowling was needed to get us all to wake up to this ludicrous situation showing this country’s politics to be an absolute shambles. The only country where bank tellers can be Chancellor of the Exchequer. Where poor barristers can become Prime Minister. Anyone remember that great TV show called ‘Yes, Prime Minister’? Well, today’s lot are even funnier. Unfortunately as it is not a TV show but reality, it has set us up to be a basket case! It shows, as I have suspected for some time, that we are governed by a clique, a clique that is self replicating. The personalities can change but the system stays as it always was. It’s like the old aristocratic hold that was holding us down for aeons. Now we have the Eton and Oxbridge lunatics. It is just like a self-replicating amoeba. A bug that splits itself to make two bugs and before we know it has become so numerous it has taken over the government. As the old bugs die off or get killed in the process, they ensure new ones are always available.

I am not entirely sure whether the new stream in politics, the Reform Party, is going to be the answer. The bugs are far reaching! Their tentacles are long and get into everything. Am I advocating revolution? Certainly not, but what I would like to see is a complete reset of our values. Starting with our education system taken out of political control. It will be a good start. I have been a school governor for two schools and some head masters are clear thinking and brilliant organisers, others not so. People should be selected on merit, attainment, and common sense. Forget woolliness, forget the ‘I know somebody’ system. Forget ‘Mickey Mouse’ degrees, bring back hard-nosed science(s).

Well, as has been said, in the main politicians have no backbone, certainly Starmer lacks one but hey his beloved NHS will have a new one for him somewhere? Perhaps he doesn’t mind waiting for 10 years or more. Thank you.
