Who runs this world, you? Eh....
How is it possible that we, the ordinary public, the ordinary voters, do allow a few individuals to ruin this world? I am talking about Putin, basically a despot and dictator, I am talking about Trump, another one albeit a beginner compared to the aforementioned, also the Iranian clergy. That’s just for starters. Altogether probably no more than 25 people who are intent on leaving their tenure nothing but ashes. It is really incredible we allow it. Every time it is the same old thing, we vote for them because of their sugary words and then find they are nothing but hollow promises. Just look at the United Kingdom, it is beyond me why it is still united but that’s another story. Just look how these promises have stacked up, can anyone tell what has come of them?
We just are saddled with Mickey Mouse university degree holders who think they know it all, while in reality they know less than a harvest mouse. Perhaps they are just capable of boiling an egg but only if they have a class 1 degree in Home Economics. Their sense of reality is absent and in truth has never developed beyond knowing where you buy a cheap bottle of gin when they are not in Parliament. Inside the rat infested building the drinks are free which is why they try to sleep there as well. In fact they sleep on the green benches which can be seen every Wednesday.
Indeed a sad story but unfortunately true. Those that are awake are allowed to ask the most awkward questions, like “My auntie Lizzie is suffering because she cannot afford to buy a bottle of London gin which as we all know is a terrible affront to proper living”. One could go along like this but the original statement of why only a few people seem to want to destroy this planet, its civilisations and societies, is beyond rational thought. One might say, oh it’s just politics, these people are trying to up their economics ideals. The quality of their respective country’s living standards. Well, it is obviously not true looking at the world today. Russian quality of life is virtually zilch, except maybe in the two or three large conurbations. The rest just lives on what they can grow in their two feet square mud patch. Is this what Starmer has in view for us? Fortunately my mud patch is a bit larger and I can grow a few potatoes for a month’s supply. A few vitamin pills at the same time and I should be OK for some time if I ration the potatoes to the family.
I know this is a black look at the situation but frankly would anyone disagree? Even if we throw out Starmer and Co, the next lot will have scant chance to rectify the situation as most that needs doing is beyond our capacity to deal with it. We have allowed ourselves to become incredibly badly defended by thinking another nation will pay, thank you! Now that the sabres are rattling again, yes even from so-called allies, we are looking around bewildered and do not understand why this is falling upon us. Haven’t we always paid our dues? No, we haven’t, we have let it slip believing it’s alright. Instead we have allowed our guys on the green benches to waste our money on frivolity such as millions, billions even of unemployed and shysters who think the world owes them a living. Sad? Of course it is, perhaps there might be change on the horizon. Unfortunately change can be more traumatic It just depends whether we can finally find some people who believe to serve for the benefit of others is the right way.
