Do you have some spare land for Eddie?
It might have escaped people’s notice, the reason for the strange governmental verbal emanations made by virtuoso Ed Miliband are rooted in the failures to control illegal immigration. Especially as the increased population necessitates millions more homes and vastly increased power needs. Plus bearing in mind that power here means electricity as coal, oil, wood and gas are out of contention. Electricity generated by those thousands of massive wind turbines. Obviously as we have plenty of land to spare according to Ed we will build these on Green Belt land. Ed is an English chappie so a lot of wind turbines as he envisaged, will be needed, and will be winging their way to Wales. Wales as ever will bear the brunt of English inventive thinking. England is full of NIMBYs as we in Wales know to our cost. Even so, they will still have quite a number to contend with. It has become glaringly obvious that the government, past and present, haven’t got the foggiest about how to deal with 21st century’s problems. Problems of overpopulation, food supplies, production and power needs. By some uncanny chance (!) a failed Opposition leader as he was at the time now heads a department charged with solving the problems mentioned. The man has no idea he’s even alive, let alone have a clue what the words ‘power’ or ‘electricity’ or ‘wind turbine’ actually mean, or how they are related. When trying to explain this in front of the TV cameras he stares vacantly into the lens hoping for us to think he is intelligent, knowing what he is talking about.
Well, to say it in my words, we are going to be plastered with wind turbines. I have a back garden, perhaps it will do? Or it may contain twenty bungalows? Let’s be fair it is 10 yards by ten yards. I live in a Valleys Welsh town where already so-called 1 bedroom flats are built by the hundred. I am told that when local ‘older’ people are applying they are told they are for immigrants. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen. The local authority’s handling is and has not been good, certainly it is circumspect. I have seen placards asking if people know where land is available. Crazy? Not really, this is Britain.
Now I know it is too easy to be critical of government’s ideas, ideology or whatever it is called. I am sure they all think they do a good job. Invariably it shows up they do not. The elected who, shall we say, are coming into government as MPs completely unprepared for the problems waiting, have to listen to ‘experts’ advising them. These experts are themselves riddled through with prejudices and fanciful ideas to be useful. As a result we can see the condition of the nation today. When I said ‘Prejudices and fanciful ideas’ I left out ‘Woke’. Obviously, I quite understand the problems the whole world has to face. Brought on by the aforementioned overpopulation causing gigantic amounts of rubbish fouling land, air and seas. And not to forget global warming. It is not pretty but not insurmountable. Unfortunately the brain capacity of Ed is not up to the challenge. It will also mean we as a population will have to bear the cost as well as the inconvenience. I think overall Labour is already on the losing side, and like Putin are desperately clinging on to power. Throwing money around like water which they haven’t got so will have to borrow or tax (again and again). We have to check our bank balances quickly before Ed and Rachel get their hands in the till!
