Is it 1939 all over again?

We, in the UK have to face up some facts. In fact, the whole western influence sphere, to name the US, the UK, the EU and their vassals need to face up to the same facts. These facts are very simple, we are re-enacting the 1930’s. OK, we have Starmer here trying his best to f*ck the UK but in the US we have a president who is beginning to sound much like Neville Chamberlain in 1939. We are all being goaded into another conflagration because of weak, powerless governments. It is shown through the behaviour of the autocratic countries, Russia, China and some others. It seems our politicians, as I have said many, many times are powerless nobodies who pretend to know what’s going on. In reality they are only interested in easy solutions without any idea of the possible results.

When Russia invaded a free country although not being part of the EU or NATO, all we heard from western governments was ‘We will install sanctions’. Oh, but did we? Really? Sure, some money from oligarchs was impounded but oil and gas was still openly exported from Russia. Yes, the (in)famous shadow fleet of tankers is still going strong and are now ‘protected’ by the Russian navy. Are we doing anything? Yes, we are shadowing and ensuring they have safe passage. It is a complete shambles. These ships despite the Russian navy should boarded and taken to a western harbour where Russia can collect the ships minus load. What did we do when Russia invaded the Crimea? We sat in our comfortable chairs drinking a gin and tonic mumbling something about these ‘terrible Russians’. The Russians talk a lot about de-nazifying’ forgetting they did much the same thing. The facts are that ultra right and ultra left are both totalitarian systems. It seems to have been forgotten the Russians killed millions just like the Germans did. For basically similar reasons, ideology and power. It is not the ‘de-nazification of the Ukraine, it is about projecting power. Again, much like the US president does throwing around threats of trade sanctions through exorbitant interest rates. As a result of all these possibly related actions, the whole world is now staring into the abyss. One false move, and the wick will be alight. The problem is the wick is a very short one.

Have we still got Credit for the National Debt?

A few of my friends have said to me, ‘Like to read your comments’, and ‘ How can you believe all politicians are wasters or idiots?’ Well yes, good observation. Obviously not all politicians are wasters but when you view the national debt, now standing at I believe at over two trillion pounds you must ask yourself this question – Did I saddle the nation with that? No? OK then who did? You’re right, politicians. This pertains then to all because it is they who make the decisions. They will defend themselves by saying that all they do is in our best interests, but is that really true? Take the Covid debacle with PPI, millions if not billions, were wasted. Panic buying, bad decisions and more. Take the foreign aid budget, millions again sent to nations who have used it to finance their space programme. Or purchased weaponry. The millions wasted to finance the upkeep of immigrants coming in by the thousand without any reason whatsoever just because they have heard Britain is the new parad...

Do we really understand our adversaries?

Having read one of the Telegraph’s articles, the ones that are sent called Top Stories on mobiles, named ‘Putin will soon turn his war machine on Britain’ , I wasn’t sure whether to start packing my belongings or laugh uproariously. It was attributed to Ben Wallace , a former Secretary for Defence, so it must be taken seriously. Looking at the article at first one can easily dismiss it as a bit of fanciful drivel, much like loads of other ‘ Telling you what is going to happen’ stuff. Obviously most does not, will not happen or are just fancy personal emanations of deep-seated fear of the unknown. Whatever, I wouldn’t think someone like Sir Ben would succumb to such fear. So, I read the article again and picked up the psychological slant on meetings with people who have had little discourse or meetings with opponents in foreign climes.
