A bit more about how 'we' like working people!
“Looking after working people”, a couple of words the good ol’ Keir likes to bandy about. Can someone tell our promoted bankteller Reeves as well? It seems she is in the old Labour mood of destroying the economy. This is not unexpected of course, every Labour government does the same. Although they usually are very good at telling what they intend to do, and unfortunately never do. I have started to think both the Yuppie college of Eton and the Woke University of Oxford teach a course of Obfuscation. So, come November we see the same old old, tax rises instead of grasping the social aid costs and slimming down the Civil Service. But both Keir and Rach just haven’t got the type of brain to do such a thing. Theirs is just wired for one thing, staying in power for as long as they can. Simply because they know they will be in the doldrums for decades after the next general election unless they are gone before that. They work to be remembered , except they will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. As indeed will the boss, KS or more better known as Cockup Starmer.
One of the things I am beginning to see is that things do not change, respective governments make the same mistakes over and over again. They all talk the talk but that is as far as it goes. We get wonder-boys like Net-Zero Ed. A failed Opposition leader who hasn’t changed his opinions, and these opinions never counted for much. He has no idea how to lead a country to Net-Zero. On its own Net-Zero is a wonderful goal. I think we all know how our lifestyles, the things we do are harming the planet’s eco-systems. It is not just the climate, microplastics will be with us for aeons. But an idea is just an idea, it needs graft to get the result, planning, money, the correct approach. This is just the thing with government, they have an idea at 9am, at 10.30 by the coffee and cakes around the Cabinet table they decide to go for it, it will run for a few days. Complaints are beginning to arrive. After one week the PM calls a U-turn, after having said on national TV that the originator of the plan had his undying support. The Bank of Blighty writes off £10billion and borrows £100 billion more. The originator is sacked. Indeed, this is how government works. Great isn’t it? Except we have to pay for all that. That is why and what Keir means by saying – Looking after working people. These have the money Rach desperately wants to lay her mittens on. And pay they will, on pain of a nice jail term. Frankly it might be better to go to jail as it is free meal time, and open prison is like a holiday camp nowadays. The ‘best’ judges in the world have seen to that.
The whole political world stinks, badly thought out laws, nepotism, you might know it as the ‘Old boy network’, although it now includes women as well. Our ‘much-loved' PM who simply is agog about working people because he cannot figure out why they should want to work as Labour is the party of freebies. Just have some imaginary mental attitude affliction and you can travel the world. Yes, this is Britain today, has anyone seen old Winston around? He could no longer rest in his plot. Not the type to stop working to save the nation. Well, a dead man will be better than the present one sitting in the PM’s chair. Get the flags out!
