An Opinion of Society?

     The question of what Britain has become is shown in the name I have just used. The word Great has disappeared. We are no more than just a small European nation that still pretends it has an empire. Except no-one in the real world knows exactly what it was. Even if some small minority groups feels the urge to protest about slavery we had been busy with, forgetting the whole world was busy with it, and want to pay reparations for actions our forefathers thought was just business, not a single person thinks about that you cannot change history. At the same time they will not learn from history so that old mistakes are not being made again. Something which is noticeable throughout the world. Humanity does not learn from previous historical mistakes.

    It seems that due to hardships such as going through two world wars and previous ones like Waterloo as well, the present stream of most western politicians reflect an attitude that wrongly wants to change the social structure. To do that they have dismissed the reality of human instincts and behaviour. They have actively promoted a type of society, the (in)famous multicultural idea, which was intended to ‘improve’ society to a peaceful stream of obedient non-entities led by an elite. This quite obviously was never going to be attained despite trying hard! People, politicians, liberal politicians will never attain such a state. Already this is visible with the rise of more right-leaning political parties. One of the things , I call them a fact of life, is that every action has a reaction. In other words, the rise of liberalism, the ‘woke’ generation will result in a sharp turn. Just as it has occurred in the United States. 'Trumpism' is now ‘ruling’ the roost for at least another couple of years. This will happen in Britain just the same. Similarly in other western democracies. They will all turn into semi-autocratic nations.

    Will it be a good thing, you may well ask. I think it will but only if underlying inequalities are going to be addressed. Such as the discrepancies of economic standards between north and south. That goes for Britain, but also the world. African economies are vastly different from western European. The situation in Britain also, the difference between Wales, Scotland with London, Kent, or the Home Counties is an affront to proper government. It has been a gross failure to correct things after the second world war. Certain plans like the Marshall plan to rebuild devastated Europe was a great success but it now what was built upon it, the economic prosperity has run its course. Just keeping producing goods we do not really need in such quantities because it provides employment will not maintain prosperity. Today’s situation shows that without any doubt. Cars are made but are now devastating society. The move to plastics are devastating the seas and oceans. The rise of cheap air travel, together with cars are devastating the air we need to breathe as well as increasing the general temperatures everywhere. These things are all attributable to liberal attitudes of the present and previous governments. Despite weasel words and smiling for TV audiences their actions are countering ‘normal’ behaviour.

    Hence we have to suffer the collapse of society into a drug fuelled AI run idea of ‘We are alright Jack”. The truth is the smell of failure is beginning to pervade except the elite have not yet heard the thunder in the distance.
