Are we on the right track? You bet...you lose.
OK, so the UK is slow, perhaps listening to what our valued PM says, is a coward? So, it’s OK to have bases all over the world, Chagos, Cyprus, wherever but when it comes to planning its defence, ah we don’t have the money now. We just pay Child Benefit for every child under sixteen. Lovely. Oh, and since the worthy Unions have decided that we only work from 9 to 5 in the marine shipyard because we do not want to miss our tea, the frigate we have still floating must be restocked with weapons we still have to buy, the boat cannot leave here for another 2 years.
It wouldn’t be fair to just blame the present Labour government but all the same didn’t we vote for them to sort the mess the Conservatives left? What happened to that promise, oh I forgot there were 2,000 U-Turns. It must have been one of them I overlooked. It sure looks like as I have mentioned before, our worthy MPs, also the various governments have lost the art of leading the country. Sorry, they are leading it but to destruction. Woolly thinking, strange laws and a believe that the world is made of sugar and spice. We have a dithering PM, a Chancellor who thinks we all hide some money and she thinks it is rightfully hers We have a deputy PM, who cannot remember what a war is and thinks we are already defending our soldiers in Cyprus. On top of that he has difficulty pronouncing the correct names. I wonder why, because he is no slough. Even worked in the States. He should know the law inside out. Why does he come over as someone needing a kick on the backside to wake up? Is he waiting to see his boss taking the tablets or what? Perhaps he ought to read before about the subjects he is orating on?
Well, there you go, one can see the problems. In the meantime I am waiting for the sun to come out. In that respect I agree with the Greens, the reason the sun is hiding behind grey clouds almost every day is our predilection to burn as much oil as we can. Just ask Trump for his opinion. I am aghast watching a FlightRadar24 app to see the world is virtually covered by planes, and I haven't even mentioned the cars. Also EV's. Most going to take people on trips which are totally unnecessary. Even worse it is getting to the point where thanks to the vastly increased amounts of atmospheric poisonous gases such as CO2, methane, and some nitrogenous compounds, we no longer need nuclear bomb to throw around as the air we breathe will soon kill us anyway. If not directly then indirectly. The weather will stop most produce we rely on for food to grow. Already we hear about failed harvests. Some scientists are already speculating which animal will follow humanity. Here come the octopuses. Interesting to find out how they will start walking on land. Or to see them chatting on TV about their trip to Mars. But frivolity apart, it is a valid question. Humanity is on its last legs. To be fair this happens to all genera that reach their ultimate number. Food and space runs out, wars will save the strong for a while, disease will do the rest. It is a sour look I know, but give me a reason I am wrong!
