Interesting times? Hell yeah...

 Interesting times we live in, not? America’s Trump throwing executive orders all over the place, to Britain’s David Lammy, a British politician who has served as Foreign Secretary since July 2024, insisting Britain owes a few trillion pounds to Caribbean nations. I’ll have a look at my bank account straight away to see if I had my annual interest. To Rachel Reeves insisting the UK is buoyant. May I ask what have we, citizens , done to deserve all of this? But to be fair, does anyone ‘normal’ (i.e proper male or female and loving his or her country) think Trump has done anything wrong? Surely, it was about time to right this woke hurricane that has enveloped the western nationalities? It is about time LBGT+ people button the cakeholes, and let them get on with trying to make a living. It is about time that someone said there are just two genders, female and male. OK, we might think trying to wrestle Greenland away from Denmark is a bit much but let’s have a look why Trump wants it? For a start Denmark has done zilch about Greenland bar moaning there was too much ice. With the Russians getting a bit frisky about the polar area the Americans are waking up. The Canadians lovely people as they are, are still unaware there is something like the North Pole. So, yes I can see where Trump is coming from. At least he is stirring the pot. Let’s be fair Europe for all its posturing has NEVER paid its fair share. I am an European but I feel ashamed about the calibre of its politicians. I haven’t a clue where these people got their education. Oxford? Yeah, enough said. Eton? There they only teach how to evade responsibility and common sense denial. NATO originally was a very good way to keep the peace but can anyone today say the same? It is falling apart because European nations have consistently failed to pay their fair share, even the UK has not and is still pretending to be a world power. At last there is now someone trying to upset the cosy apple cart. It is high time.

Let’s hope finally a British government, i.e Keir himself sees how it should be done. It would be great to see the same flurry of proposals and directives flying out from Westminster. But Keir at the moment is too busy trying to convince people that it was not him to have had voice coaching during the Covid lock-out. No, it was someone else. It only looked like him but was a clone made by those nasty Conservatives. But unfortunately, Keir who is basically a soft Marxist won’t change anything unless it is farming. Yes, the underlying message given is farming as we know it, is finished. It may even become a nationalised institution. The government will not pay for it of course but through insidious taxation and rules they will make it completely untenable for farmers to operate and so would be forced to give up. That will probably put prices of land into a downward spiral, just as the government wants it. So, within the next decades we will just be able to chose between carrots and potatoes for dinner. No cows, meat will be grown in laboratories. Cancer rates will treble and viruses have a field day because our resistance has gone awry.

Give me a Trump for the UK now, please. Just to upset this cosy ‘aren’t we doing a good job’ rubbish we have had for the past decades. Imagine that!
