Knife Crime? Yeah, I know...

Whilst it is undeniably true knife crime is on the increase, possibly due to the ease at which the so-named ‘zombie’ knives can be bought, even from places like Amazon despite their denials; the efforts of politicians like PM Starmer will only drive it underground. The blunt truth of the situation is knives can easily be obtained. The political solution of yet more laws is the usual bit of, ‘Hey, look we are doing something’. It would, however, make it more difficult to buy from places like Amazon if one had to provide a picture of a passport without deleting the accompanying meta data. In fact it ought to be so that a personal name should also be in that data. The name of the person that registered the phone. Obviously even that could be falsified but the truth is that we are talking about people. And people are the most vindictive, aggressive and inventive animals to roam the planet! Politicians like Starmer should start to understand those few simple adjectives. Another problem is our ideas about ‘freedom of expression’. But half the time it seems to include ‘freedom to act’. These two are totally different. Again the matter of unbridled immigration comes up as far too many young ‘virile’ males arrive from places where the values of living are totally different. I don’t want to point out here their views on womanhood as it is already well-known but the wokies now holding the sceptre do not. However, it has already begun to bite the bums of those who have let our values slip.

It is most likely the reason why the so-named ultra-right are sticking their heads up over the parapet. This is pretty visible in the USA. It is the usual result of years of indecision, prevarication and blatant disregard of the wishes of the electorate. The same over here in the UK and so we are now saddled with even more incompetents. Mostly nice people if you met them at a wine party at home but most have very little idea about governance. Too many are focused on the UK’s position in the world as a big power. We are no longer anything of the sort. It has been eroded even from before WW2. Today it has got so bad as most girls just want to be famous, whatever that means and most boys just want to be a footballer or something. Besides playing 10 hours a day on a mobile phone. Sad? Of course it is and most of the blame can be laid at the educational establishment.

I think one of the problems is we are spending far too much time and money on issues pertaining to our belief we are a world power. Instead of dealing with issues here at home. Such as knife availability, proper taxation, immigration, just to start. Notice I left the NHS out, the NHS problems can never be solved unless we kill all people 70 and over. Please discuss.

Have we still got Credit for the National Debt?

A few of my friends have said to me, ‘Like to read your comments’, and ‘ How can you believe all politicians are wasters or idiots?’ Well yes, good observation. Obviously not all politicians are wasters but when you view the national debt, now standing at I believe at over two trillion pounds you must ask yourself this question – Did I saddle the nation with that? No? OK then who did? You’re right, politicians. This pertains then to all because it is they who make the decisions. They will defend themselves by saying that all they do is in our best interests, but is that really true? Take the Covid debacle with PPI, millions if not billions, were wasted. Panic buying, bad decisions and more. Take the foreign aid budget, millions again sent to nations who have used it to finance their space programme. Or purchased weaponry. Tonyrefail going to jail!

Always I have my ears (and eyes) open to happenings around, especially the rumours that abound. One of these rumours is about a jail. The rumours say that the Welsh Government had written to all Welsh local authorities to find out possible locations etc. The only Authority replied was Rhondda Cynon Taf. Interesting? Of course it is because now my brain begins to tick over. I am sure that the Home Office and as a representative, the Welsh government would want easy access to the motorway system. Here comes the M4! Not too far from the conurbation (Cardiff/Newport/Swansea). So that means Central Eastern South Wales. Next would be land ready for building. Guess what?
