Politics an iffy business? Bet you it is.....
If you ever thought politics was a bit of an iffy business, don’t worry you are correct. It is an iffy business. In fact it is a dirty business and if it ever was put on legal investigation it would almost certainly be found guilty of misappropriation of funds and be jailed! Also under present legislation certain verbal exclamations would incur either a jail sentence or a hefty fine. So, let’s have a look – Finance – it will be said that tax income of the government is theirs to do with what they want. But surely tax is for the benefit of the whole UK population? It is now known we pay billions to overseas aid but also what the aid is used for. Most of it for nefarious strange purposes. The nation of India seems to have used most for sending a rocket to the moon. That must have been a great consolation to the teeming millions who are starving there. In the meantime to find these billions for ‘foreign aid’ we denuded the armed forces of money and allowed our defence to go to such a low level we cannot even a deter an attack by the European nation called Andorra. The Andorranian army now outnumber our own and their rifles use real bullets. It won’t be long when the Irish navy will launch a full-scale invasion of the Cornish coast and within a week will occupy the UK. Then we have the governmental use of ‘hospitality’. Usually known as ‘having a snout in the trough’. Despite emanations of verbal excellence about global warming, use of private jets is on the rise. The cost of this excessive frivolity is astronomical. There is no doubt, public servants of all kinds play footsie with our hard-earned money. Easy come, easy go is the political motto. We have had judicial reviews galore but we ought to remember these bods are in the same boat. No meaningful result will ever come from a judicial review in governmental expenditure.
The other question, that of what is and has been said in the past or present by our incredible intelligent public reps needs looking at properly. Apparently there are questions as to why we have sent someone as an ambassador to the US who was to be fair quite ‘dismissive’ of its president. Someone who called the now president of the US a “danger to the world” and “little short of a white nationalist and racist. But politics for what it is goes both ways, Trump himself is not averse to put a few sentences around. But as we can see these are the sort of people who are supposed to look after our interests and economy. We have trusted them to look after our interests but they have consistently failed. Furthermore they are busy to destroy the planet by their inept handling of international relations. In fact we are so close to a world war as it ever has been since the last one. Their posturing, greed and ineptness have brought us this far. It is really unbelievable but it is as it is. It is also the bane of humanity.
