So, what now, Mr Starmer?
Well, what now for the British government? Indeed, what now for the EU? As Donald (the Don) has won the US presidency? What about the future for Mr Lammy? Ms Maitlis? Hahaha, you couldn’t make it worse for the lefties. But realistically, it is a dramatic disaster for the West generally. Why the US has strongly moved to the right and most of Europe is still anchored in liberal leftie useless crap ideas. What does that mean? Well, for a start think about NATO. The monster in Moscow is smiling his head off. Then, trade, if the 'America First' idea gets a hold it will probably mean heavy tariffs on foreign imports. Not good for the UK.
It will be an eye-opener to see how politics will be in the next few years. I don’t think there will be a major war. The Ukraine might be pressurised to accept a compromise, meaning loss of the eastern provinces. In any case it seems that the people there have no wish to be Ukrainians. Thereafter Ukraine will be part of NATO and will become a valued trading partner. Then next I am expecting is a renewed political exchange between China and the US or even pending the Chinese stance, a military confrontation in the Pacific. There should be no doubt, as I have mentioned before that the Chinese are hell-bent on defeating the economic hold the US has in the world. The BRICS are gathering their resources.
So, what now for the Labour government? Well, already I think the rot has set in. It won’t be long before the pressures will be so heavy as to initiate a total collapse. Why do I say that? The problem is our election rules. The first past the post system does not reflect the political realities. We, thanks to that system ended up with Labour with a stonking majority. Which in reality is not true. Labour received barely 30% of the vote. A strange democratic issue. As such they will receive far higher pressures in the land. It was bad to allow high ranking politicians to ‘talk’ like they have been doing. Sure, one may be critical but ‘schizophrenic sexual predator’? If that was true, then just leave such things to the legal system of the country in question. Thus, the USA. Not Mr Lammy. The other thing that needs sorting is the obvious bias of the BBC personnel. By all means report on the political happenings but leave your own woke thoughts at home. Frankly the BBC from top to bottom needs a real good weeding! And not just the BBC, other broadcasters need to have a good look at themselves as well.
One thing about Donald Trump, and probably why he won. He spoke for the silent majority. An entity that we here have forgotten about. The silent majority consist of people like myself. Working, trying to make a living with the higher costs of about everything. The difficulty to obtain a decent house or flat. The business attitude of the major companies in employment rules. Taxation and the continual lying that political parties condone and support.
We need a reset! And the US has just done that.
