Hot weather? Believe it or not...

Just now on TV I heard, Scientists say the weather is unprecedented. I think that means we are seeing unprecedented weather patterns. I suppose the scientists are correct. To have a few summers when temperatures are above 40°C and for longer as well plus extensive droughts in quite a few areas of the planet is indeed pretty worrying. Yet does anyone of the ‘normal’ population worry about that? I don’t hear anyone talking about not going on holiday to the Med. There is now more plastic in this world that can bury us all in a 10 feet deep layer! Our so-called civilisation depends on oil, prior to that we depended on coal and prior to that we depended on wood. The point here is that we have always produced carbon dioxide and some other heartwarming gases because that is life. But as populations grew we simply have produced more. To the effect of placing billions of tonnes of gases in our atmosphere we cannot breathe. The natural cycle has been further changed by humans cutting down the very entities that produce the gas we all need to breathe, oxygen! Those entities, trees, take quite some time to regrow. But the land on which they once stood has now dried out to such extent that re-establishment is a major task if at all possible. As I have mentioned quite a number of times, it seems a natural progression. All populations that grow in quantity act exactly the same. Space runs out, food runs out, followed by a downward spiral and eventual extinction. Humans differ slightly in that because they have the capability through using their “intellect” producing artificial aids to manufacture items aiding survival. Be that food items or mechanical items made of types of metals or even plastics. But even that has a time-span. So, what’s for the longevity of the human animal? Well, by all accounts it will be difficult to foresee but it is expected that by the end of this century most of humanity could be found in Saharan caves huddled around a few campfires. And that only if they could find a gas lighter. The only life found on the planet lives 6 miles down in the oceans, on land there are only two mammal genera (or genuses if you are not of academic standard) rats and 200 humans. All besieged by a thousand viruses. There you go, end of a chapter and now time for Mother Earth to renew herself. Over time she will.
