Are you perturbed? Yeah, thanks to Social Media.... get a life!

     Why are we, western people, so perturbed about Israel? Is it that they are only looking at the biased TV reporting from both sides and making their minds up about what is happening today? A good question then would be, were they all asleep? In my younger days, no-one seemed to worry about Israel or indeed about Russia or China and Trump was only a screaming kid in his mother’s bosom trying to find a teat to suck. A thing he probably has never forgotten and dreams about day and night. Why not. It is a natural thing, so the experts tell us. But yes Israel, in the UK now we have loads of people mostly imported who have waken up about the happenings on the ground in the Middle-East’s eastern seaboard. Bit late wouldn’t you say? There has been a problem there ever since the Muslims started thinking they would conquer the world. Nice idea, many have tried. History tells us it usually is an absolute failure. Now it has to be understood that there are problems of that kind on both sides. The Jewish subsection of humanity also has been with the same type of idea for hundreds if not thousands of years. It is not just about ownership of pieces of land. It is about being able to live within it and with the ideology you believe in. Rightly or wrongly. It will go wrong if you start believing others should do exactly the same and if they don’t you will make ‘m! In the case of the Jewish people versus the Muslim people, there is no difference between them. Frankly speaking, it is a problem all over the world. Once a set frame of mind takes root, problems start. Compromise flies out of the window.

    The Russians tend to believe the rest of the world is mad and it is their right to teach them their Russian ways. The Brits for a number of years were of the opinion that they were the people to teach the world about democracy or rather that aristocrats are the natural rulers. The poor Indians on their lovely subcontinent had to listen to that everyday. The Romans were of the opinion that the rest of humanity was good enough to provide them with sufficient gladiator entertainment. The Dutch overran the archipelago of Indonesia but only because they fancied wives of a different colour because their own were so pale. Oh yes, and they had become hung on spices. The first national drug emergency. And we better not mention the French, another lot thinking the world owed them a living. Even a small nation like the Belgians careered all over the Congo Basin. Only the Lord knows what they were doing there, the Belgians themselves didn’t.

    So, it puts the present calamity in perspective. It seems normal human behaviour so why is everyone so uptight? You cannot possibly act upon some occurrence that happened a few thousand years ago. Rather look at what you need today. To keep harping on about old injustices doesn’t bake the bread you need to eat today. The same although with a different outcome now besets the Americans. On the whole they have started thinking they are the masters of the world. Sort of acting like He-Man fighting Skeletor (rubbish film actually). They are the ones deciding what has to happen. They are the ones making the decisions. Can we tell them it doesn’t work? We can tell ‘m but what’s the point. They believe in supremacy. Someone at some time might tell Trump he is acting, speaking, thinking in exactly the same way as another one a bit further East. Or West in their case as well. Can I tell them their actions now have created two very large enemies. I have always wondered why a country as large as Russia thinks it needs more land to survive? Or is it just the old idea that everyone else should be exactly like them? Perhaps, but I want every other 8billion lovely people minus one to think and be exactly like me. Come to think of it, how boring would that be! There wouldn’t be sufficient clogs to wear!
