One of the things happening often in UK politics, the government making U-turns. Now ordinarily that’s not so bad because if you have made a mistake and after a year or so you figure it would be better to change, then do so. But in the UK U-turns happen within days! That shows policy is made on the hoof. Like in No.10 the cat has a brilliant idea, the Prime Minister immediately goes on social media saying cat food should be free of charge. Brilliant, great idea, everybody applauding. Two days later after vociferous opposition the PM declares that as cat food is now made from vegetable matter and Tofu, the cats have gone on strike. They want Kitekat back. So, U-turn. Brilliant, aren’t we doing well. Just a waste of time. Because in those few days there were hundreds of meetings, the Speaker of the House needed a private plane to attend a briefing in Honolulu about why cat food was too expensive and the surcharge needed removing. Viewing the deteriorating world situation coupled with the meekly calls by European leaders to ‘de-escalate’, which both Israel and Iran will not adhere to but will increase escalation. You only have to listen to the rhetoric from Iran and the responses from Israel. It is time to declare I am signing up for joining a possible Homeguard. I am too old now to join the Army proper but I have had military training. Having been on national service in an European Army, just across the water. It was reported a day or so ago that some Senedd (the Welsh government) members felt that social media is used to viciously attack politicians. Even on a daily base. In other words, continuously. Good Lord, a politician complaining about being attacked? That is unheard of, never happened before. What is going on? Where is the Army, can we send the Royal Marines? Well, Trumpy baby can in the US, why not here? We must safeguard our valued politicians, they do such a valued good job it must be protected at all costs. Yes, yes! Well, it makes you wonder what type of politician we have today. Obviously they do not like it up ‘m, although they do not mind putting the hot poker up others. Completely ignoring debt levels and obfuscating how money is spent. Bellowing from the dispatch box how good it all will be. Defence spending? The world of science is an absolute fascinating world. New things, new ideas happen all the time. Old theories get banished, new theories spring up. For most people the word Quantum is alike to ‘acrabadabra’ or perhaps ‘supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’. Yet, today it has become the ‘In’ word. Usually described as the ‘Explosive birth of the Universe’, it might turn out not particularly true at all. Personally I have believed there was no beginning and there is by association of that word no end either. This newer research seems to point out that view. Basically saying we are the result of an ‘evaporation’ of a black hole. Black holes are not just an infinite point in space from which there is no escape. I t is unbelievable how proper elected governments actually behave. Yes, behave is the correct word because governing is not what they do. The immigrants problem is nearing flashpoint. But they do not care. The Home Secretary is more interested in upping her money and the Prime Minister is more concerned h i s hair looks good but never does. Shambolic is the word. When national newspapers have been treating the immigrant problem softly softly for some time, it is now becoming clear what excessive immigration, illegal immigration does to communities. The money we pay for this abomination is absolutely eye-watering and rising! We pay half a billion to the French police just to stand and watch immigrants going into the infernal dinghies to make sure no harm befalls them. In fact I reckon some of the police cheer the immigrants on their way. O ne might think of a man like Jeremy Clarkson as a bit of an idiot. Me, I’m not one of them. In fact although I find his antics of running a farm a bit off the mark it always seems to work out OK as he gets the right people to do the jobs for him. But there is more to Jeremy than you might think, his mind is sharp and he tends to say what most people think but never would say for fear of being deported to Scotland. His right on the spot remarks in his newspaper article tells the story of how this country is run by people who have as much brainpower as a gnat. In a funny way he pointed out that when he dies the government will take possession of his farm, plaster it with solar panels and social housing to house hard-working immigrants. He forgot to say earning salaries and thousands of benefits paid for by taxes levied on real hard working families.
